Pumpkin for Halloween

Pax has chosen her pumpkin.

She worked hard to “decorate” it. She put quite a bit of thought and design into.

We decided since we were decorating early, we would draw out our design as opposed to carving it.

We have found a neat little place to choose our pumpkin from. On the highway home there is a family that put a trailer of pumpkins and apples out by the road. They have a sign to indicate how much the pumpkins are and a little metal box to put your money in. So you can get a pumpkin anytime.

There are many designs on here. She even let Terry & I both ad our “touch” to it.

Pax and her Dad worked hard today building a second deer blind. Now we will have one for our land at the house and one for the land at the farm. Our freezer should be full this winter. Paxton learned a little bit about hammering and then immediately became a PRO at it. If you don’t believe me ask her! She was looking forward to painting on this blind until she found out about hammering and then that made the top of her list.
